Ant Art Colony

Privacy Policy

Effective August 23, 2026 Published by Codifya · info@codifya.com

Ant Art Colony is an idle pixel-art game where you direct a colony of ants to paint a canvas, one block at a time. This page explains, in plain language, what the app does and doesn't do with your information — short version: we don't run any servers of our own, and we don't collect anything that identifies you.

What the app stores

Your colony's progress — coins, gems, unlocked levels, ant upgrades, settings — is saved directly on your device. We never see this data, because there is no Codifya server for it to travel to.

If you're signed in to iCloud

Ant Art Colony can optionally back up that same progress to your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, so it carries over between your iPhone and iPad. This copy lives in a private database that belongs to you, not to us — Codifya has no access to it, no way to read it, and no way to retrieve it, even if you asked us to.

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or any other personally identifying information. There is no account to create and no sign-up form anywhere in the app.

Purchases

Removing ads, unlocking unlimited speed, buying diamond packs, and the Ant Queen Pass subscription are all handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Your payment details are processed by Apple — Codifya never sees your card number, billing address, or Apple ID password.

Advertising

Ant Art Colony does not currently show third-party advertisements. The in-app "watch an ad for a speed boost" option is not wired up to an ad network yet, so no advertising data is collected today. If that changes in a future update, we'll revise this page before the update ships, and the ad network's own privacy practices will be linked here.

Tracking & analytics

We don't use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software development kits. Ant Art Colony does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and it never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission because it has nothing to track with it.

Children's privacy

Ant Art Colony is designed for a general audience, including children. Because the app doesn't collect personal information from anyone — regardless of age — there is nothing about a child player that reaches us. Purchases are gated behind Apple's own age and parental-control settings on the device.

Managing & deleting your data

  • On this device: open Settings inside the app and choose Reset All Progress to erase everything stored locally.
  • In iCloud: your synced backup lives under your own Apple ID and can be inspected or deleted from your device's Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
  • Everywhere: deleting the app removes its local data from your device immediately.

Because we hold no copy of your data ourselves, there's nothing on a Codifya server for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf — the controls above are the complete picture.

Services we rely on

The app is built on two Apple frameworks, each governed by Apple's own privacy policy:

  • StoreKit — processes in-app purchases and subscriptions.
  • CloudKit — optionally syncs your progress across your own devices.

Changes to this policy

If how the app handles data ever changes — for example, if we add an advertising network — we'll update this page and move the effective date at the top. We'd encourage checking back here occasionally, especially after an app update.
