Intake

Terms of Use

Effective September 10, 2026 Published by Codifya · info@codifya.com

These terms cover your use of Intake, a water, beverage, and food tracker published by Codifya. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. Intake is currently free with no in-app purchases — if that ever changes, we'll update this page before it does.

The app

Intake is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies unless these terms say otherwise. We may update the app — new features, tracking categories, or fixes — at any time.

Your data & content

Everything you log — water, beverages, meals, notes — is yours. It's stored locally on your device by default; see our Privacy Policy for exactly how the optional Apple Health sync, widgets, and Watch companion handle that data on-device.

Not a medical device

Intake is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Hydration goals, calorie estimates, and macro totals are approximations meant to help you build awareness of your habits — they are not diagnoses and should not be used to make medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your health, diet, or hydration needs, especially before changing either based on anything the app shows you.

Third-party nutrition data

Product names and nutrition facts returned by barcode scans that aren't in Intake's built-in catalog come from Open Food Facts, a community-maintained, crowdsourced database used under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. Codifya doesn't create, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of this third-party data — always check packaging directly for anything that matters to your health, such as allergens.

Acceptable use

Use Intake as intended: don't attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract assets from the app beyond what's permitted by applicable law, and don't use the barcode scanner or camera access for anything other than logging your own consumption.

Ownership

Intake — its code, design, and branding — belongs to Codifya. Nothing here transfers ownership of the app to you; you're granted a license to use it, not a copy to redistribute or repurpose. Your own logged data remains yours, as described above.

No warranty, limited liability

Intake is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and free of bugs, but we don't guarantee it will always be error-free, available without interruption, or perfectly compatible with every device or HealthKit configuration. To the extent permitted by law, Codifya isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on tracked data.

Termination

You can stop using Intake at any time by deleting it, which removes its locally stored data from your device. We may discontinue or change the app at any time; where we reasonably can, we'll give notice of significant changes in advance.

Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we'll update this page and move the effective date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law in your country grants you additional rights that can't be waived.
